House That We Rented in Hatteras, NC
Hey, just thought I would share with you during my last day here the house that we rented. We got some pics too that I will put on my website sometime next week probably.
Memorial Day
Here’s a pic of me Erynn and Christopher our youngest in Helena, MT. You can see the capital in the background. We picked up Emily (my wife’s sister) and proceeded to her family’s annual cookout located near Cardwell.
Helped with Track and Field Day
Today I helped with the boys long jump for track and field day with the elementary school. My son Jonathan is in kindergarten and it was fun to see him compete with the other kindergarten boys.
Jonathan won both races he participated in ( I believe the 50 and 75 yard race)
I had fun too.
Jonathan and I Jogging
After school once in awhile Jonathan and I will take a jog out to the mailbox and back. The trip is about 2 miles I believe.
Here are some shots of us:
Church Lakers and Celtics
Today we went to church and afterwards got our boys some KFC and my wife and I did Subway.
Got back home and realized that the Lakers had already started so I watched the second half – not too closely though because they were doing great and of course they won the game so on to Denver.
The poor Celtics have been battling hard but I predicted that they wouldn’t end up winning the series so that makes me a prophet right?
Even though most of the day was cloudy here in north central Montana – it was a nice day at least it was warm – thank God! It was about 74 and our boys decided to use the hose and squirt guns. We can’t wait for summer!
I’m looking forward to going to my bro’s wedding at the end of the month and have been thinking about it now for some time! My wife and I and Christopher will be flying out of Montana on May 28th and flying back to Montana late June 1st.
I will be bloggin 4 sure!
My 3 Sons
Today I spent from morning until about 2pm with my 3 sons. Here’s a quick video:
I then went for a bike ride after Erynn came back from meeting with some folks for VBS and then just chilled out the rest of the afternoon. I ended up going to bed like @ 8:30 because I have felt really tired lately.
My Friday
Today was a pretty regular schedule day.
Dropped Jonathan off at school and went to work in my downtown office. Picked Jonathan up from school and then went home. Ate supper and then took my boys (jonathan and Samuel) to Chill Time which is our Friday night outreach or bridger program for students in our community. We open up the youth center from 7 – 10pm on Friday evenings.
It’s been great because we have seen students come into our youth ministry as a result of opening up the youth center.
I got to connect with all 3 students that accepted Christ earlier this week and so that was great!
My oldest son Jonathan got hooked playing Mario Cart on the wii that night – might have to get it for ourselves someday.
Lakers Lose – I don’t get it
I just don’t get why this series is so hard for the Lakers. Yao is out and the Lakers didn’t have much trouble with them in the regular season.
Here’s a recap if you didn’t see it last night:
It wasn’t as bad as two games ago, but come on.
If the Lakers do win Sunday not so sure if they can beat Denver the way that they have been playing.
What do you think?
3 Students Look Up to Me and Ask Christ Into Their Lives
Wednesdays are one of the highlights of my week because it’s when I get to go and minister to students at the youth center in our town.
Tonight I shared out of Nehemiah 13 and in verse 25 it says: “So I contended with them and cursed them and struck some of them and pulled out their hair…”
Nehemiah was a confronter and I was sharing about how as a Christian you need to confront evil and shared about being 100% for God or 100% for the world and not to try and do both.
I transitioned this into giving the gospel towards the end and with everyones heads bowed and eyes closed I just simply asked to look up at me if they wanted to ask Christ into their lives for the first time and I had 3 students (1 boy and 2 girls) look up at me.
I led them in prayer and now it’s dicipling time!
I want to say that I was so pumped and believe that it’s one of the most amazing things to lead someone to Christ. I encourage you to be bold and share the gospel often.
9 Years Married Now
Well today I have been married 9 years!
Nine years ago May 12th, 2000 my wife and I were married in the Conrad Mission Church in Conrad, MT.
So, I stopped working @ Noon and we headed down to Great Falls for the afternoon. We did shopping and then ate supper @ Macaroni Grill with JC Lindeman and his wife Rosanne.
We split crab stuffed mushrooms and cheese ravi0li with sausage and finished with chocolate cake. We were also able to catch the first half of Celtics and Magic game.
After supper we went to Barnes and Noble just to walk around and look at books. We then headed home because we were pretty tired as Christopher had woken up @ 4:30 and wanted to get up and stuff. We are working on readjusting his schedule to sleep like he used to before he got sick.
Sorry no pics forgot to grab the camera on the way to Great Falls.
